SERVICE OPTIONS

MI Defenders offers full scope representation and limited scope representation. In full scope representation, you hire an attorney to handle all of the work in your legal matter, from start to finish. Limited scope representation allows attorneys and clients to work together to divide different tasks in a case and decide who will be responsible for each. 

Limited scope representation includes: 

• Researching your legal issue and giving legal advice; 

• Preparing legal documents; 

• Reviewing self-prepared legal work; 

• Coaching you how to appear in court on your own; 

• Drafting a demand letter or response letter; 

• Negotiating or reviewing a settlement agreement; 

• Representing you in court at a specific hearing while you represent yourself in court for all other hearings.

MI Defenders provides virtual or in person office visits.
